Shock treatment: For water problems such as algae growth or cloudy water, a chlorine shock treatment is used to create a high chlorine level that quickly destroys contaminants.

Initial dose: Can be used when starting up the pool at the beginning of the season to thoroughly disinfect the water immediately.

Regular disinfection: While chlorine tablets are often used for continuous dosing, granules can also be used to quickly adjust the chlorine level.

Instructions for use: Dissolution: Always dissolve the granules in a bucket of water before adding them to the pool. Never add water to the granules.

Addition: Add the dissolved chlorine solution to the pool water, ideally in the evening with the filter pump running.

Filtration: Allow the filtration system to run for at least 2 to 3 hours after adding the chlorine shock treatment.
